He met Chaudhri Hyder Hussein of Lucknow, at the Dehra Dun Railway Station by a coincidence. When Chaudhri Hyder Hussein asked Shri Nathji where he would be staying at Mussoorie, Shri Nathji replied:
“I haven’t decided as yet. Abhi sochaa naheen hai!”
Thereupon Chaudhri Hyder Hussein immediately offered his home at Mussoorie, and Shri Nathji consented to stay there for a while.
The name of the house was Dilaram Estate and it was on Camel’s Back Road Mussoorie. Shri Nathji had stayed there earlier in 1936 at the time when Shri Babaji Maharaj had visited him at Mussoorie.
Chaudhri Hyder Hussein of Lucknow, a Muslim Barrister, had great love for Shri Nathji and often said about Shri Nathji:
He radiates love. Nay, he is all love from head to foot.
So great was his faith in Shri Nathji that once when clouds had loomed large at his party he had prayed to Shri Nathji saying:
Hazrat duaa farmaayiye. Give Thy Blessings to stop the rain!” In later years Chaudhri Hyder Hussein would go up steep climbs to listen to Shri Nathji’s sermons in Mussoorie:
If by climbing a little slope one can obtain such a wonderful spiritual thing, it is no great effort, he would say, there is the great slope of life that we must all climb one day!
