He was now 73 years old. He had handed over the reins of his Divine Power to Shri Nathji, who was spreading his mission everywhere in the world. Shri Babaji’s body was becoming weaker and weaker day by day.
Even though during his last days Shri Babaji Maharaj had become so weak that he had difficulty raising his quilt upon his body, yet he would not allow anyone to do his work for him and even carried his brass lotaa himself.
Shri Babaji Maharaj was, however, free of sickness and disease. He ate very little and seemed to know about the real foods of Nature. Even during those early days when medical science was not advanced, he would frequently say to Shri Nathji: “Betaa ye murraggan cheezen acchhee naheen hoteen! Son, these fatty foods are not good for the health!” He would be referring to ghee and butter.
His favourite food had been the potato, and Jagatmata, his spouse, would make a variety of potato dishes for Shri Babaji Maharaj which he enjoyed immensely.
