Shri Nathji was even then concerned for the welfare of his brother, Prem Nath, and even though he was living in difficulty himself, he sent him money by money order from Mussoorie to Kapurthala in November 1941.
Later, as the winter became intense and Mateshwari could no longer bear the ice-cold water and the freezing nights of Mussoorie, Shri Nathji shifted down to his house at Dehra Dun, where he remained most of November and December 1941.
The people of Dehra Dun were enthralled to have Shri Nathji’s darshan and blessings again. Mr. and Mrs. Khera came to Shri Nathji’s house at Dehra Dun where Mrs. Khera fell in love with the baby Priya Nath and took great care of him.
As Mateshwari was still weak after the childbirth and the atmosphere at Dehra Dun was not very congenial, the Kheras invited Shri Nathji and Mateshwari to come and stay with them at Allahabad.
All of Shri Nathji’s programmes in life were decided by the thirsty souls that lay waiting for him.
Had Shri Nathji so desired he could have made the atmosphere at Dehra Dun so congenial that he would never have had to leave his house there.
But it was His Divine Will that he exile himself and go to places where he was needed by people who would otherwise never have been able to meet him.
