Shri Nathji and his family, along with Lala Hargopal Khanna, came to Delhi by plane from Lahore in March 1947 and stayed with the Bhutts at their residence at Western Extension Area, Karol Bagh, New Delhi. Bhutt Sahib took great precautions in these troubled times with communal riots everywhere, and even roamed on the roof of his home in the nights, with a gun in his hand.
