It was at Lodi Road that the devotees had occasion to witness the Divine Anger of Shri Nathji. There was a time when Shri Bhutt began the Arti even before Mateshwari had entered the room. Shri Nathji said in a voice like thunder that made everyone tremble: “““O Lord, either love me or be angry with me. But never let me see the day when you will give up your love as well as your anger!”There was Shri Nathji’s verse that explained Divine Anger:Gussaa teraa davaa hai raihmat teri ghizaa hai“Thy Anger is our medicine, and Thy Mercy our nourishment,Shri Bhutt had come before Shri Nathji at Lahore in December 1944 and had earnestly prayed to Shri Nathji to call him close to himself so that he could serve him. Bhutt had been miraculously transferred from the Central Provinces in 1945 where he was a sub-judge, to the War Department at Simla, and from there to Delhi in 1946, where he risen to become a Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence by the year 1952.
