Shri Nathji was facing troubles at Mussoorie not the least of which was the illegal occupation of the Savitri Nivas Cottage by strangers. It was only after Priya Nath had complained about them to the Magistrate that they left the place. The City Board at Mussoorie had obtained an ex-parte decree from the Court for a huge sum of arrears that they alleged had to be paid for their garage at Library, where Shri Nathji’s Ford car had been kept. The sum demanded was unreasonable and exhorbitant, but Shri Nathji paid them whatever they wanted so as to maintain peace.
