These were the days when the Bery Brothers of Calcutta had become very devoted to Shri Nathji and used to visit him at Silverwood Cottage, Mussoorie. Mrs. Bery had intense faith in Shri Nathji. There came a time in Mussoorie when she became very ill. An operation was in the offing. Dr. Bucher of the Main Hospital at Mussoorie met Shri Nathji on the Mall Road and said to him: “Mrs. Bery is very, very ill.” With the inadequate medical facilities at Mussoorie an operation was dangerous. When Mrs. Bery was taken into the operation theatre she had a vision of Shri Nathji standing there and telling her that nothing was wrong with her. And a miracle occurred. The doctors cancelled the operation and she became all right soon thereafter. The faith of the Bery Family soared in Shri Nathji after the episode.
