During the days when Shri Nathji was with Shri Babaji Bhagwan at Amritsar, he was going for a walk in Lawrence Garden. A Sikh youth by the name of Sardar Basant Singh met him at the garden. A sudden transformation came over him even as he cast his eyes upon Shri Nathji. He was awakened to a new world of peace and bliss. He had been in a state of incurable depression because of a broken heart in a love affair with a girl he had loved and lost. Nothing could bring him out of his depression. The doctors had no cure and his parents had lost all hope.
