The Raja, who had rented the palace out to Shri Nathji, had made a pretense of devotion at the start, and avoided giving the receipts for the rent that Shri Nathji paid. Later, his relatives, who lived in the same premesis, sought to intimidate Shri Nathji to leave the place. One night a large crowd of mischief mongers collected threateningly outside Shri Nathji’s chambers. Shri Chaman Lal Magoo was there at the time and confronted the men. Shri Nathji’s divine power came into him and he held the crowd at bay.
