Shri Nathji has suffocation attacks with greater and greater frequency and can scarce eat his food. There are the feelings of dizziness and faintness that increase, and generally Shri Nathji finds himself becoming weaker and weaker so that even walking has become an ordeal for him. Even though he conceals his symptoms from Priya Nath as often as he can, so as not to alarm him, yet Priya Nath can tell instinctively when Shri Nathji is not well. He had often said to him:“Kuchh bhee ho, hamen bataa zaroor diyaa karnaa! In the midst of this continuing weakness and increasing physical suffering, Shri Nathji writes a ghazal that portrays Him in the heights of spiritual joy beating out a rhythm of Divine Ecstasy, “Dhamaa-dham-dham” which was the sound of a Celestial Drum:Dhamaa Dham “Bahaaren aa gayeen saare na koyee bhee hai khaare gham“Spring has come everywhere, there is not a sign of sorrow now,It ends with the powerful Verse:Jahaan men Nath aaya hai urraa dee jiss ne daare gham“Nath has come into this world, who has made the cross of sorrow disappear,Priya Nath records this powerful ghazal on the piano, using the rhythm of the Casio as an accompaniment. The result is stupendous.
