There were the days in 1962 when China had invaded India and the Indian forces were retreating while China had designs to subjugate the whole of India. It was the most perilous situation faced by India ever since its independence. At that time Shri Nathji had written a letter to Mao Tse Tung, in the dark hours of the winter night at Mussoorie. The letter urged the Chinese Head of State to cease the aggression against India and to withdraw the Chinese forces.
