As Shri Nathji watches the Ramayana episode on Television he is moved to tears at the wailings of Ravana’s wives at the death of their sons. Shri Nathji is also deeply moved by the dialogue between Ravana and his remaining son, Meghnath – who is determined to die on the battlefield against Rama.“Patti ko phool ki lagaa sadmaa naseem kaaThe petal of a rose was buffeted by the windIf one were to accept that Shri Nathji was Lord Rama in the ages gone by, then another verse of Shri Nathji would also apply:“Dostaan raa kujaa kuneen maihroomHow canst Thou forsake Thy Friends,Shri Nathji had often narrated how Lord Rama had said: “If Ravana comes over to my side and takes refuge in me, then I shall give him the kingdom of Ayodhya and become a gateman at his door!”
