A lawyer of the Delhi High Court, a certain Shri L.C. Goel, comes for Shri Nathji’s darshan and Shri Nathji recollects the reception He had been given at Akola in the bar-room of the lawyers. The President of the Bar Association was a certain Shri Thumre, who welcomed Shri Nathji with a garland in his hand, saying:“This is not a garland of respect. Respect is meant for elders. This is not a garland of honour. Honour is meant for honourable judges. This is not a garland of reverence either. For reverence is meant for priests, pandits and padres.Almost the entire city of Akola had seen Shri Nathji’s Divine Form in December 1950 and Shri Thumre had been amongst the fortunate ones.“Jeet aapki huyi, aur haar meri!“You have won and I have lost!”Shri Nathji then added:“Jiss Bhagwan ko mujh men dekhkar aaj Shri Thumreji ne mujhe haar paihnaayaa hai, main ussee Bhagwan ko aap sab men dekhkar apne hridaya ke haar paihanaa rahaa hoon!“Shri Thumre has seen God in me and garlanded me. I see the same God in all of you and offer you the garlands of my heart!”This led Shri L.C. Goel to break out into loud cries of: “Main aapki“I have come to write another Law in your Law Books and that is the Law of Divine Love!”
