At 8 pm there are Dr. Saxena and his wife along with Sudhir Saxena – and a devotee from Maharashtra, Dr. Pushphas Purekar. “He became an ardent devotee of Shri Nathji thereafter and remained so for many years till the 1970’s when he left the world with Shri Nathji’s name on his lips, singing Shri Nathji’s verse:“Nikal jaaye dam tere kadmon ke neeche“May my last breath be spent at Thy Feet,Dr. Purekar had miraculously survived nine heart attacks – a veritable medical record, and had even left the hospital on receiving Shri Nathji’s telegram for a speedy recovery. Much of his life was spent in rendering medical service to mankind and in singing bhajans in praise of Shri Nathji.
