By a strange miracle, as the years pass, Shri Nathji’s hair begins to turn black again, from a silvery white. It was a miracle of Shri Nathji for the sake of Priya Nath and his devotees, to show them that indeed he could stay upon the planet earth for as long as he liked and that age and time had no meaning for him. “I am in my second childhood!”Shri Nathji was born on the 23rd of June 1902. On the 23rd of June 1989, he was going to be exactly 87 years of age. Apart from the slight wrinkles on his hands and the bluish texture of the veins on them, the most uncovered part of his body–his Face remains incredibly, divinely, beautiful. And his brain is fantastically active, despite the malnutrition and strain on his heart. “Thy presence upon earth establishes that Rama and Krishna had also come in the past. It is only by looking upon Thee that we can understand what the avatars of the past looked like, and what was their nature, Shri Nathji had said time and again:“Ye cheez yugaon ke baad aayi hai–aur phir naheen aayegi!“Rama came with the fourteen ‘kalaa’ of power that he was endowed with. Krishna came with sixteen ‘kalaa’ of power. But He who has come in this age is Pooran Brahm, –God in all His fulness!”It was for this reason that Shri Nathji had often said to his devotees:“Kheton ko de lo paani ab baih rahi hai Ganga, “Give water to the fields now that the Ganges is flowing,Indeed, those who had been given the nearness of Shri Nathji had a big responsibility on them, to do whatever they could for him. It was the only chance that they would ever get to serve God in human form, for the sake of their own salvation.“Prabhuji, maine to Kaliyuga men aapki sewaa hee moksh kaa saadhan samjhaa hai!“Prabhuji, I am convinced that in this age of Kaliyuga, serving Thee is the only means of attaining salvation!”How fortunate were those who had been given this opportunity and were using it. Priya Nath considered himself to be the most fortunate person upon the planet earth and indeed in the Universe itself. However, he was distressed that the only sewa that Shri Nathji took from him was caring for him in his self-imposed illnesses. If this was the leela, drama, that Shri Nathji was enacting merely to give salvation to Priya Nath, then he had no desire for such a salvation. He could not bear to see the physical body of Shri Nathji suffer in any way whatsoever.
