June 1989 begins on a cheerful note. It is the month of Shri Nathji. Shri Nathji repeatedly thumps Priya Nath on his back with great love and cheer and says: “May the month of June bring all joy and happiness, health, wealth, peace and prosperity to you and Bhayya, and to me! And to the whole world! May you live long! May you, I, and Bhayya, live long! Good luck to you! Good luck to you!”Shri Nathji adds:“Let us usher it in with music!”“Khoob baajon ke saath maheena shuroo karnaa chahiye!”Priya Nath plays music practically the entire day on the 1st of June. Shri Nathji has written a new ghazal on the start of June, which Priya Nath records as well.“Kissee ne killaa gaarr rakhaa hai lawn men!“Someone has cast an evil spell on the lawn!” It is a fact that whenever he steps out into the lawn he invariably becomes weak and falls ill. Priya Nath had seen this happen so often that it was no longer a fancy or a figment of his imagination.“Aazmoodaa raa aazmoodan jehel ast“To prove that which is already proven is foolishness”Albeit he is otherwise fairly talkative and cheerful– to keep others happy, and especially to dispel Priya Nath’s fears and worries.
