Shri N.L. Talwar has stationed a number of his men to look after Shri Nathji’s house, day and night, and these ‘safaayi karamchaaris’, or sweepers, are inside the lawn most of the time. Shri Nathji recollects how once Shri Babaji had wished for sweepers and a swarm of them had collected at his house. He often referred to them as “shubh”, auspicious.“There are some people who say that if you get up early in the morning and meet a Brahmin, it might bring you bad luck, but if you meet a man from the lower caste, it could be an auspicious sign!”
