There is Sewa Ram’s son, Naresh Kumar, from Naini Tal. Shri Nathji gives a very long lecture to him about the crucifixion of the Sufi Saint Sarmad, in the past age:Sarmad agarash vafaa-ast khud mi aayad“Sarmad, if He loves thee He shall come by HimselfWhen Sarmad was ordered to be beheaded, he saw in the executioner also, the Will of God, and said:“Come, O Beloved Come! Let this head be severed, so that a long story can be made short – I am glad that my head is to be cut. I had quite a headache!”This was one of the highest stages of spirituality when one saw the Will of God working in all phases of Life.“Mazaa hai istakaamat se misaale shamaa mar jaana“What bliss lies in dying like the burning flame,Priya Nath never liked Shri Nathji’s references to ‘crucifixion’ as he feared that Shri Nathji may be crucifying Himself for the sake of humanity. He often ‘quarrelled’ with Shri Nathji over this, and then blamed himself for being impertinent and causing a strain on Shri Nathji’s health.
