Speaking of the little services that Shri Nathji takes from his devotees, He says: “Jisko sevaa milee ussko salary bhee deni parrti hai! “He who is given service has to be given his salary as well!”“People desire jobs – only so that they may receive a salary in return for them. How fortunate are the persons who do not have to look for a job but have it given to them.”There is Shri Nathji eating his favourite dish of ‘“Joonhi phir gaur se dekhaa meraa Saaki toohi niklaa!“When I looked again with care,Shri Nathji listens to it four times in succession and says:“Bahut hi kamaal ki ghazal thhee – jee khush ho gayaa!“It was a fantastic ghazal. It brought immense joy!”Then there is the familiar scene of Shri Nathji lying in bed and singing a ghazal from his notebook. Priya Nath does not ask Shri Nathji to dictate the ghazal to him for singing, as he does not want Shri Nathji to strain Himself.
