There is the daughter of Maandanbhai from Rajamundry in Gujarat. She had met Shri Nathji in March 1949 at the time when Shri Nathji had gone to Rajamundry at the sincere prayers of his staunch devotee, Narmada Hathi, – who had gone on a hunger strike to persuade him to come. Narmada was still alive.“Maandanbhai – you will be well by tomorrow!”And his fever broke the next morning. He lived for many years thereafter. “Maandanbhai! Too meri shakti par shak kartaa hai!“Maaandanbhai! Do you doubt my strength? And, saying this, the figure of Shri Nathji raised a mighty mountain in the region. “Shri Nathji should never take other peoples illnesses upon himself, but let them go through their own troubles in life. His body is too sacred and too precious to be subjected to such unwanted torments.”This was what Priya Nath had always been saying to Shri Nathji himself and had been the main reason for his “quarrels” with him in the days past.
