On October 19, 1991 Shri Nathji has a terrible night. There is intense restlessness, toxicity and repeated belching of gas from SUDDENLY THE ENTIRE HOUSE BEGINS TO SHAKE AT ITS VERY FOUNDATION. IT IS AN EARTHQUAKE OF GREAT MAGNITUDE THAT ROCKS ALL OF DELHI.Shri Nathji gets up from his bed and advises Priya Nath that they go outdoors:“Baahar chalna chahiye!“Let us go outside!”But the earthquake subsides just then. It is the early morning of October 20, 1991.“Inn dikaaron ne jagaaye rakkhaa, varnaa makaan girne ke khatre kaa kaise pataa chaltaa!”“These belchings kept us awake or else we would never have been aware of the dangers of a house collapse!”Or perhaps it was Mother Earth rocking the city of Delhi for not looking after Shri Nathji, the precious body of God upon earth.
