One remarkable achievement is that Shri Nathji finishes writing His 183rd ghazal notebook and asks Priya Nath for the date, as He usually does, whenever He finishes any ghazal notebook. Shri Nathji says:“Ye gyaara taareekh Mayi ko shuru kee thee! Nau din men khatam kee!“This book was begun on the 11th of May. It has been completed in nine days!”Shri Nathji is pleased at the record time in which He has ended the book. He has written about 150 ghazals of Divine Bliss and Ecstasy during this period when acute illnesses played havoc with His health and body. No human being was capable of such a feat. Priya Nath recollects Shri Nathji’s words:“An Avatar reveals to the world how to remain happy in the midst of sufferings.”Shri Nathji remains well for the greater part of the day, despite his poor appetite and poor intake of fluids. He and Priya Nath discuss the causes of the bad stomach and they suspect the large quantity of “heeng” –asoefetida, put in the food the day before, along with ‘Lona’, the Potassium salt.
