Gone were the days when Shri Nathji could get up from his chair and begin his slow and rhythmical dance to a ghazal he particularly liked. These were the days when Shri Nathji had to be helped to get up from a chair by Priya Nath. Even though Shri Nathji could stand and walk around with Priya Nath holding his arm, he found it difficult getting up from a chair without becoming unsteady.“Vaise to kuchh bhee naheen hai!“It is virtually nothing!”But Priya Nath loses heart and fears that the short spell of good health Shri Nathji is enjoying may be over. Priya Nath “chides” Shri Nathji for asking for ‘“Pet bhaari lag rahaa thhaa khaane ke baad shaam ko – phir“The stomach was heavy in the evening, after the lunch – and did not become normal after that. The head is somewhat better now, though not fully normal.”Shri Nathji had hidden all His symptoms from Priya Nath so as not to spoil his day – so that he could concentrate on putting the “Bahut hi tez pankhaa chal rahaa hai.“The fan is going much too fast!”Priya Nath gets up and slows down the speed of the fan, and Shri Nathji adds, sleepily:“Khaana bhee“The food was also very heavy!”Shri Nathji was now scrupulously telling Priya Nath of all his symptoms after the vexation shown by Priya Nath on that score. Even though Priya Nath felt sorry for his outbursts, yet he was satisfied that at least now Shri Nathji was not concealing his symptoms from him, which could have led to drastic consequences.“Yusuf Sarai koyi kapraa lene ki jagah thhorri hai!“Yusuf Sarai is no place to buy a cloth!”As plans are made to get a new achkan made for Shri Nathji’s coming birthday, Shri Nathji tries on his creamish grey or camel coloured achkan of American cloth, to serve as a sample for the tailors – but finds it to be too large. They then decide on the Air Force Blue achkan as a sample for Vedi Tailors –who could then make the new achkan like it, after the purchase of a proper cloth from a better place.“Ham ne bhee kholi hai yaan jinse muhabbat ki dukaan“I, too, have opened a shop containing the Shrubbery of Love!
