Pitaji added, as He always does these days:“Praarthnaa karo, ke he Nath, hamaare saron par bane raho.“Pray that I may remain with you as a shelter over your heads!”Perhaps everyone – including myself – were so convinced that Pitaji would live forever that we never prayed for it. The very thought of Pitaji leaving the world was unthinkable. Everyone in the world would go, but not He – that is what we all thought. “Main chaahoon to iss shareer ko chamatkaar se laakhon varshon tak rakh sakta hoon, magar main aisaa naheen karoonga, taake aapko bhee pataa rahe main kitne saal aapke beech men rahaa!“I can keep my body for lakhs of years, but I will not do this, because I want you to remember how long I stayed amongst you.”He had also said many times:“Maut meri banaayi priya vastu hai – main aane doongaa usse. Main jab chaahoon vastar badal saktaa hoon.“Death is my own creation and it is dear to me – I shall allow it to come. I can change my vestments whenever I so desire.”He had also said once with some anger that Death could come to Him only when He called it and not otherwise:“Maut ko maut na aa jaayegi jo meraa kasad kar ke aaye!“Shall Death not come to Death if it resolve against me!”There was something in Pitaji’s voice and demeanour in this last video lecture which spoke volumes in an unspoken manner.
