As always, Shri Nathji speaks of Priya Nath’s devotion to Him, and of his sacrifice in leaving Harvard and a lucrative job in America.“MUJHE TO INKE PAAON CHHOONE CHAHIYEN!“I MUST TOUCH HIS FEET.But much before Shri Nathji can touch Priya Nath’s feet, Priya Nath bends down himself and clasps Shri Nathji’s hands in his hands and raises them. A deep sorrow strikes Priya Nath at this magnificent gesture of thanks. Priya Nath knows too well how unworthy he is of such an unparalleled honour. “Tumev maataa cha pitaa tumev“Thou art my Mother and my Father,On January 11, 1992, as Shri Nathji had made the attempt to touch Priya Nath’s feet, Priya Nath had prevented him and later written in his diary:“O Lord, I have done nothing – It was Thy miraculous care that gave Pitaji this Long Life – O Lord, please never let Pitaji do this again, or say He is indebted to me, for I am less than zero and was all the time responsible for His illnesses.”Priya Nath realises – that apart from his intense Love for Shri Nathji, which is not even a millionth part of the Love Shri Nathji has for him – he has done nothing much. A paid Nurse or Medical Attendant would have done as much or even better.
