Shri Gopal Swami was one of the oldest of Shri Nathji’s devotees in terms of age. A new faith had entered into him ever since the going away of Shri Nathji in His Physical Form. The divine vision of Shri Nathji would remain before his eyes all the time. He would say to the gathering of devotees again and again:“Shri Nathji, Mahamateshwari and Shri Babaji Bhagwan –all three are present in Shri Priya Nathji Bhagwan! He is the greatest divine force in the world today! He is God Incarnate! Anyone who fails to recognize him is a Priya Nath often referred to Shri Gopal Swami as “the grandfather of the devotees”, and also gave him the title of ““I do not pray for mukti, salvation. All I pray is that whenever the Lord comes into this world again, I shall be born in the world to be able to serve him.”It was the same prayer that Shri Ganesh Prasad Bhutt had made before Shri Nathji in the years gone by.“Huzoor aap thheek rahaa karen,–hamen aur kuchh naheen chahiye!“HuzoorIt saddened Priya Nath to see both, Shri Gopal Swami and Shri Chaman Lal, come slowly and painfully up the steep slope to Savitri Nivas. The ravages of old age had caught up with them.
