There is the sad news of the passing away of Shri Shashi Bhushan Saran, the friend of D.N.Sinha, who had fallen in love with Shri Nathji at first sight years ago. Shri Nathji is greatly saddened to hear of his death. He is reminded of Shashi Bhushan’s words about him:“Yahaan jo pyaar miltaa hai vo kaheen naheen miltaa–bas yehi ek cheez hai jo marne ke baad saathh jaati hai. Baaki sab cheezen yaheen raih jaati hain.”“The love one gets here–from Shri Nathji– one does not get anywhere else. This is the only thing that remains with a person even after death. Everything else remains behind.”Shashi Bhushan was in his early fifties and had died suddenly of a heart attack. Priya Nath is greatly saddened and sheds tears. He recollects how Shashi Bhushan used to come for Shri Nathji’s darshan with Shri D.N. Sinha and how Shri Sinha would give him a tablet of the ant-acid Gelusil every time he felt a sense of heaviness in his stomach and chest. He had been advised long walks by the doctors to reduce his weight but had been unsuccessful.
