Shri Nathji cautions Priya Nath to not to point out the mistakes of erring devotees, and says in all His Divine Wisdom:“Priyaji, kissee ki galti naheen “Priyaji, never point out the mistake of anyone. People are very revengeful. They cannot tolerate it. It is better to close one’s eyes to their mistakes. One must understand the nature of a person and deal with him accordingly!”Shri Nathji had often quoted the Hindu Scriptures wherein it had been written:“Aadmi kaa svabhaav aur stree kaa charitra jaannaa barraa mushkil hai! Isse devi devtaa bhi naheen jaan sakte!“The nature of a man, and the character of a woman are very hard to understand–not even the angels can understand it!”It is an eye-opener to Priya Nath to see devotees he had been heavily relying upon changing their colours, and he tells himself: “Duniyaa men jo bhi aapko bulaayegaa–chaahe nazdeek se nazdeek kyon na ho– uskaa gupt yaa pragat koyi na koyi matlab hogaa. Magar main jab aapko bulaataa hoon meraa koyi matlab naheen hotaa–sirf aapko oonchaa karnaa hotaa hai!”“No matter who calls you to himself–even if he be closest to you, he has some motive concealed or revealed, of his own, for calling you. But when I call you to myself I have no motive of my own. My only motive is to make you great!”This, indeed, was the voice of God to man. Shri Nathji had written in his book, ‘The First Rays of Dawn’:“Beta, ye chele hi marvaa daalte hain.”“Son, these disciples often destroy their guru.”Shri Nathji recollects how Mahamateshwari used to say: “If only Christ had proper devotees around him, he would not have been betrayed and killed just for a few pieces of silver. It is true that Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed Christ, committed suicide later, out of repentance, but that did not bring back Christ! The loss was irreparable!”
