By that time it is Holi–the festival of colours–and Shri Nathji has composed a Holi ghazal, or Holi geet, which is beautiful beyond compare and which begins with the magic words:“Ye Holi kaisee holi hai jo Holiness ko laayi hai“What a Holi is this Holi that brings Holiness with itself,Shri Nathji listens to these, and other old classic ghazals, and claps his hands in happiness, saying: “THESE GHAZALS ARE A GREAT CURE FOR THE HEART. IF TENSION CAN MAKE THE ARTERIES OF THE HEART CONTRACT, SURELY HAPPINESS CAN MAKE THEM EXPAND!”Shri Nathji was voicing a great medical truth. He says to the small group present on Holi, which consists of the photographer Ashok Bharal and his family:“I am giving myself a new boost of health to do God’s work!”As Shri Nathji eats ‘“Aisaa lagtaa hai beemaari morraa khaa gayi hai!” “It appears as if the illness has been reversed.”Shri Nathji wishes to go to Mussoorie for the Summer but the doctor advises against it. The doctor says that Mussoorie is at a height of 7000 feet whereas only 4000 feet are allowed for heart patients. Priya Nath asks the doctor whether they will have to abandon their Mussoorie home and the doctor says he will think about it. And so Shri Nathji’s wish is left unfulfilled.
