There was George Korab De Moers, a Polish gentleman, who had begun to understand Shri Nathji’s divinity. He would frequently call him: Your Excellency, Your Highness and Your Lordship.
He would often say to Shri Nathji: Very ordinary folk come here and begin to advertise themselves. You are Truth, from head to foot–why must you remain hidden?
Whenever Shri Nathji would think of George, the man would arrive at his house as if on Divine bidding.
Several times George would seek to draw Shri Nathji out of his seclusion and urge him to speak to audiences in London. Shri Nathji consented to go to the intellectual Poetry Circle only. Not finding any words to describe Shri Nathji, George Korab De Moers would refer to him as “The Billy Graham of India”.
Billy Graham was a famous American Evangelist preacher whose speeches went to the hearts of multitudes during those days.
Tears would come into the eyes of George Korab De Moers as he listened to Shri Nathji’s words. He would say:
Your Holiness–no matter how many times I meet you, and no matter in which state, I always find you smiling. It appears that sorrow and joy have no effect upon you.
This was in accordance with Shri Nathji’s verse in Persian:

“Ghame duniyaa kaa guzaaraa mere maskan men naheen
Ashke maatam ki jagah deedaye roshan men naheen

The sorrows of the world cannot linger in my heart,
Tears of mourning can find no place in illumined eyes
