Bal Ojarkar, the principal of the children’s school known as Bal Shala, invited Shri Nathji to grace his school. The building had been built anew after it had been razed to the ground in a fire years ago. At that time the devotes had wondered why such a calamity had to befall such a great devotee. However when they saw the splendid building of the new Bal Shala, they were surprised.
Shri Nathji had often said:
“In order that new structures be made, the older foundations have got to be uprooted. A poor farmer asked God to give him a palace in place of the hut he lived in. Just then there was a storm that blew away his hut. When the man was distraught, a voice rang out from the heavens: ‘O Farmer! A palace cannot be built on the foundations of a hut! The hut has been blown away so that new foundations can be laid for the palace!’”
On March 28, 1978, the Bal Shala of Shri Bal Ojarkar, resounded with the sounds of music and the chattering of hundreds of children. The citizens of Akola had gathered at the school along with the children, for aam-deedaar – the divine glimpse of Shri Nathji. And Bal Bhagat’s proclamation- ailaan reverberated in the hall:

Ai duniyaan vaalo gaur se sun lo,
Bal Bhagat kaa ailaan kyaa hai
Bhari sabhaa men aake baithhe
Nath Bhole Mussoorie vaale,
Bhagwan saakshaat yehi hain baithhe
Nath Bhole Mussoorie vaale,
Yehi Ram hain, Yehi Krishna hain
Nishkalank Prabhu pragat hue hain
Avatar Kalki kaa yehi hain dekho,
Nath Bhole Mussoorie vaale.

O people of the world, listen to Bal Bhagwat’s song,
In the midst of this gathering sits Nath Bhole of Mussoorie,
God Incarnate sits here amongst us today,
He is Nath Bhole of Mussoorie
He is Ram, He is Krishna
He is the Lord, Nishkalank incarnate;
He is the avatar of Kaliyug, the Kalki Avatar
Nath Bhole of Mussoorie!

I have not come here to be called great, Shri Nathji said in a powerful sermon to the crowd, I have come here to serve you!
The light that emanated from Shri Nathji that day was marvellous to behold. All gathered there felt the presence of His Divine Form. Shri Nathji was fulfilling His promise–He was revealing Himself in Akola. His devotees could not contain themselves with joy.
Shri Nathji said: “When the drop of water fell into the ocean it said it had become complete. And the ocean said: ‘I, too, have today become complete!’ How could the ocean be called complete until it had regained the drop of water that it had lost!”
“Remember, if all the drops of water leave the ocean, it will cease to exist! The ocean is great only when it has all the drops of water with itself!”
“In a like manner I am complete only when all of you are with me!”
