When Shri Nathji visited Lucknow in subsequent years, Istafa Khan asked Shri Nathji to inaugurate the large Hina Building in the city which he had purchased for his perfumery business. He placed a huge ebony chair for Shri Nathji to sit upon in the midst of his guests and leading dignitaries of the time.
Later he would always say to the people:
There can be no greater proof of prosperity following in the wake of an association with Shri Nathji. He inaugurated my business, and it flourished almost instantly. The Nawab of Hyderabad became one of my customers!
Istafa Khan’s business became one of the most flourishing in the country, and people would come from far off places for his perfumes.
