Those were the days when people began to feel the living presence of Mateshwari amongst them. Many had a vision in which Mateshwari appeared before them and blessed them. Tara Buty vividly described Mateshwari’s presence in her house where Shri Nathji was staying.
I saw Mateshwari coming down the stairs, said Tara Buty, she was as real as life. She turned towards me and said: ‘Tara! Shri Nathji’s feet are bare. Go and bow before them!’ I came to Shri Nathji’s room, and indeed, his feet were bare.”
The vision of Mateshwari was experienced by many other devotees at Nagpur, as it was here that her first temple had been made.
