A devotee from Rajamundry, Shri M.A. Sastry had written to Shri Nathji:
We believe you are the Lord of the Universe. You are Lok-Pitaa––the Father of all of mankind. You are Omnipresent, Omnipotent. I have full faith that when you touch this letter of mine, all my afflictions shall disappear and I shall be released from all my grave illnesses.
Please come to Rajamundry again. Your visit here shall drive away all darkness, misery and cruelty.
Dust of your feet,
Then again there was Tara Kapoor, the daughter of Ram Saran Das Kapoor, who had accepted Shri Nathji as God in Lucknow in the 1930’s. She came to Mussoorie for the darshan of Shri Nathji and was so deeply affected that she wrote a letter to him upon her return to Lucknow which expressed her feelings:
“Shank, Chakr, Gadaa, Padamdhaari,
Posh shayyaa par vishraam lene vaale Bhagwan Vishnu, jinke pad kamalon men raihne vaali Maharani Laxmi jee sadaa raihtee hain,
O Thou Lord who are shown with the Shank -shell, Gadaa-mace and Chakr-discus and Padamdhaari-holding the Lotus Flower.
Thou who reside in the depths of the Oceans on Thy throne, Thou Vishnu Bhagwan, who are served perpetually by Maharani Laxmi,
Thou who art invoked in the Vedas with the words ‘Neti-Neti’ – not this, not this!
Thou who are the Creator and the Preserver of the Universe,
Thou who are Limitless and Eternal, unbounded by anything,
Thou who hast come upon earth for the sake of the suffering mortals, to suffer with them and like them, to save those who take refuge in Thee,
Thou whose leela is unbounded in this world and which we mortals scarce can understand.
Thou who are God in human Form,
Thou who art Laxmi Naaraayan Bhagwan,
Thy words are indescribable; they fill the human soul with a Nectar Divine,
Thou who are the Param Pitaa – the Eternal Father of the world, I bow my head at Thy Holy feet a countless number of times!Tara Kapoor”
Then there was a certain Lekh Raj Nichani at Kanpur who called Shri Nathji Pitaji -father. He wrote a meaningful letter to Shri Nathji in 1954 in which he said: “
GOD YOU ARE, OF EVERYBODY! You are mushkil kushaa–one who removes all difficulties of life. Pitaji you had narrated the story of the father and his son in the exhibition which always lives on with me.
My brother Sir Sita Ram writes about you many times from Delhi.”
