Shri Nathji was pleasantly surprised to receive an invitation card from Shri Chaube, the retired Deputy Collector at Dehra Dun, on the occasion of the wedding of his son on the 10th of December 1952.
Shri Nathji had a very old association with the Chaube family dating back to 1938 when he had been their neighbour at Dehra Dun. Shri Nathji had been living in his own house on 25, Inder Road Dehra Dun, and Shri Chaube was at 27, Inder Road, just opposite Shri Nathji’s home.
The miraculous manner in which Shri Nathji had raised Mrs. Chaube from the dead in 1938 was still fresh in the minds of people. Mrs. Chaube had lived for six months after the new lease of life given to her by Shri Nathji. In later years Shri Nathji’s blessings had remained over the entire Chaube family even though he rarely came to Dehra Dun.
