Once, the eldest brother of Mateshwari, Shri Sant Ram Khanna, sat for a long time with Shri Nathji, forgetting altogether his duties at the office. When he looked at his watch, he panicked. The time was 11 a.m. and he had to sign the attendance register of the office at 10 a.m. He had so forgotten himself in the spiritual ecstasy of Shri Nathji’s presence that he had lost all consciousness of time.
When he rushed to the office, later, he was stunned to discover his own signature on the attendance register made exactly at 10 a.m.–at the time he was with Shri Nathji! It appeared that while he was with Shri Nathji, Shri Nathji had in a miraculous manner signed the attendance register at his office for him!
He would ever afterwards relate this miracle to people and would openly declare that Shri Nathji was God Incarnate Himself. His family members had an intense devotion in Shri Nathji and performed an Aarti of him worshipping him as Jagdish–the Lord.
When you deliver yourself to God, Shri Nathji used to say, then he must do your work for you!
It was an important lesson for the world that there was never any loss in being absorbed in God.
