June 23, 2003 was one of the most historic birthdays of Shri Nathji ever celebrated at Mussoorie. “Wah, Piyaji! Kamaal kar diyaa! Kyaa kamaal ki kitaab likhee hai! Saari duniyaa aapke aage jhukegi! “Wonderful, Piyaji! You have performed a miracle! What a fascinating book you have written!The whole world must bow before you! “You have done the greatest work! No one else in the world could have written it! May you live long! May you live long! God bless you! God bless you! God bless you!”Later there were the inspired lectures of Priya Nath that were video taped at the function of June 23, 2003. Amongst other things, Priya Nath said:“This Mahagranth is Shri Nathji in another form. At the time that ‘The Advent of the Avatar’ the first biography of Shri Nathji had been released in 1980, Shri Nathji had said:‘Jis ghar men ye Mahagranth rahegaa vahaan main rahoonghaa! Ye meraa Priya Nath further said:“When everything else in the world has gone, this book shall remain. Rama left the world but the Ramayana lives on, Krishna left the world but the Mahabharata lives on, Christ left the world, but the Bible lives on, Muhammad left the world, but the Koran lives on, the Sikh gurus left the world but the Granth Sahib lives on.“Jai Jai Mahagranth, the Advent of the Avatar“Vishwa par pragat karegaa Shri Priyaji kaa upkaar!Finally there was the farewell function at the Savoy Hotel. Even as Priya Nath was speaking at the Savoy he suddenly found himself possessed by a divine wave of wrath.
Priya Nath recalled how in May 2003 Dr. Shakuntala Talwar had come to him in Gurgaon and said the very same words to him, which she had said to Shri Nathji–because her brother Dr. Dharamvir Talwar was ill again.“I have a lot of work of Shri Nathji to do. I will not take upon myself the illnesses of any devotee, as Shri Nathji used to do. Why didn’t these people pray to Datiya Maharaj to emerge from his grave and to cure Dr. Dharamvir Talwar – rather than force their prayers on Shri Nathji?“Do they believe that they must be kept alive till eternity and that everyone else is destined to die?“Why don’t they say ‘Thy Will be Done’ and simply leave it to Shri Nathji, rather than press him again and again to cure them!”The entire hall listened in hushed silence.
