Even in the midst of the grave illness and its aftermath Shri Nathji did not forget his worldly duties. He asked L.R. Khanna and N.L. Talwar to get the license to his double- barrelled gun renewed within time. The gun had been presented to Shri Nathji in Mussoorie in 1950 by a relative of the Nepalese Royal Family, after the revolver attack on him. Shri Nathji had accepted it as a gift of devotion. The barrels of the gun remained as clean as the day they had been made, since the gun was never fired even once. Shri Nathji’s weapon was the Sword of Love.
