Bimla, the young sweeperess who had swept Shri Nathji’s house when she was a child, comes for Shri Nathji’s darshan. She had received Shri Nathji’s blessings as a child, and especially at the time of her marriage, and now has a good husband as well as a house of her own, and her children are studying in convent schools. Shri Nathji had told her that she would never have to sweep again. She recollected how Shri Nathji had gone to the gate of his house to bid a last farewell to her when she was getting married, like a father giving away his daughter in marriage. Shri Nathji had sent Veeran Devi and Mrs. Bahl in two taxis laden with clothes and fruits and gifts to Bimla’s village where her wedding had been celebrated in 1976.“Jo yahaan jhaarroo lagaa lete hain phir duniyaan men kaheen jhaarroo naheen lagaate!“Those who get an opportunity to sweep in this place never have to sweep anywhere else.”
