There is the eldest amongst the Kapahi group, Shri Charan Das Kapahi, who had been a great devotee of Shri Nathji in the years past and who had had the added benefit of being close to Shri Babaji Maharaj during his lifetime. His devotion was immortalized in his song which had become historical and which would remain as a guiding light for centuries to come, depicting the real significance of Shri Nathji’s avatarhood upon the planet earth:“Charrho jin ne paar langanaa saade Nathji ne jahaaz banaayaa!”“Climb in, all who will, Shri Nathji has made a ship!”This was the ship which was to carry the people across the waters of the Bhav Saagar–the ocean of life and death, a ship of which Shri Nathji was the pilot. The ship would touch shore and people would get across, but not Shri Nathji; he would remain in the ship in the midst of the Bhav Saagar carrying people across the waters until the last man was across.
