Shri Nathji’s love for Priya Nath is amply revealed when he says very loudly to the devotees bordering upon disaffection:“Main apnaa apmaan saih loongaa, magar Priya Nathji kaa apmaan naheen saih saktaa!“I can bear an insult to myself, but I cannot bear any insult to Priya Nathji!”Shri Nathji had often said to Priya Nath:“Priyaji duniyaan men koyi aadmi apni galti sun ne ko tayyaar naheen hotaa. Kissee ki galti nikaalo to vo dushman ban jaataa hai!“Priyaji, no person in the world is prepared to have his mistakes pointed out to him. If you point out anyone’s mistakes, he becomes your enemy.”Shri Nathji would also caution Priya Nath against admonishing the devotees too often:“Priyaji maine dekhaa hai zyaadaa kaihne se baat kaa asar khatam ho jaata hai!“Priyaji I have noticed that if one admonishes too often, the words lose their effect.”
