Priya Nath would sleep in the night in his trousers, sweater, neck-tie, and the clothes he wore during the day time, because he wanted to remain ever prepared for any emergency that might arise during the night. These were the times when Priya Nath was so worried about Shri Nathji that he would not leave him alone even to go and take a bath.“Aap par to mail aa hee naheen sakti!“Dirt can never come upon you. On the earthly plane, however, Shri Nathji would exhort Priya Nath:“Piyaji, roz nahaa lenaa chahiye.“Piyaji, you must bathe every day. You must also shave daily. R.R. Khanna used to tell me–‘Huzoor, a man is completely transformed after shaving. He feels absolutely fresh!’”Shri Nathji himself shaved punctiliously every single day, no matter what the circumstances.
