Shri Nathji would often narrate the parable of the mother with three sons. Two of the sons had come home and had eaten their dinner while the third was still outside. The mother stays awake for him and even makes a cut on her finger so that the pain will keep her awake. She can sleep in peace only after the third son has arrived and she has fed him. This was the love of Shri Nathji for his devotees.
