The National Television Network of India, Doordarshan, had sent their cameraman to cover the World Prayer Day as they had done in June 1984. Shri Nathji and Priya Nath are eager to watch the news at home, and reach there by 10 p.m., but alas! –the news of the World Prayer Day was not broadcast because of an Air Disaster which made headline news. “Aaj nayee dillee men Vishwa Praarthnaa Divas manaayaa gayaa. Uss men sabhee vargon tathhaa sampradaaye ke log maujood thhe. Vishwa Praarthnaa divas ke sampaadak Shri Bhola Nathji Maharaj ne bataayaa ki parmaanu shakti duniyaa par kavaar hai, aur vishwa ke sabhi logon ko shaanti ke liye praarthnaa karni chaahiye.”“Today, the World Prayer Day was celebrated at New Delhi. People of all sects and religions were present on the occasion. Shri Bhola Nathji Maharaj said that the world was threatened by nuclear weapons and urged people everywhere to offer prayers for peace.”Shri Nathji looked stunningly beautiful on the Television Screen when Doordarshan showed the scene of FICCI Hall simultaneously with the newscast.
