This was the very house where multitudes had converged for Shri Nathji’s darshan in 1949 and 1953, when Shri Nathji’s glory was at its peak, and day had turned into night and night into day, even as Shri Nathji’s nectar of words poured out and drenched the hearts and souls of all present.
Chopra’s son, Sweetie, was no longer at Allahabad. He had shifted to Calcutta for his work there. He still retained his old devotion for Shri Nathji as was seen in the letters he wrote, although Shri Nathji had dampened the fervour of the original divine bliss with which he had been seized, when he lay down in front of Shri Nathji’s car to prevent him from leaving in 1949.
However, despite the multitudes that came to him, Shri Nathji was not one to ignore the purpose for which he had come to Allahabad.
