During those days a little bird was found inside the big hall of their residence by Priya Nath. Apparently it had hatched in a nest the birds had made inside the house. Both, Shri Nathji and Priya Nath, tended to the bird with great diligence making sure that it had water and food.
Over the days they became very fond of the bird and watched it make attempts to fly inside the room. Every morning, both, Shri Nathji and Priya Nath, would rush over to the spot where the bird rested and would ensure that it had adequate water and grains. The bird seemed to have become a part and parcel of the household of Shri Nathji. Priya Nath ensured that the windows there were kept closed lest the bird fall out and be injured by other birds or the cats.
One day, the windows were left open and the bird simply disappeared. Both Shri Nathji and Priya Nath were genuinely saddened at the departure of their little feathered friend. Such was the love of Shri Nathji and Priya Nath for all living creatures upon earth.
