Shri Nathji would say to his devotees:
“ Suppose I give you two cardamoms as a holy offering from this darbaar, a prasaad. As you go home you pass by a cardamom shop along the way. The shopkeeper offers you all the cardamoms in his shop if only you will give him the two cardamoms I have given you. Will you exchange them for his entire shop? No. You will say that the cardamoms given you by me are a sacred gift, a prasaad, and cannot be exchanged for anything in the world!
“In a like manner when you look upon your present state in life as a gift from God, then you would not want to exchange it for a state that may appear to be better.”
