“Someone asked a blind man whether he would like to eat rice pudding-kheer. And the blind man could not understand what kheer was. The other person said: ‘It is white.’
And the blind man asked: ‘What is white?’
The other said: ‘White is like a stork!’
The blind man asked again, ‘And what is a stork?’
The other person then arched his hand and asked the blind man to feel it:
‘It is like this!’
The blind man panicked and said:
‘I don’t want your kheer! It will choke me to death!’
“Such is the futility of intellectual reasoning.
Yato vaacho nivartante apraapya mansa sahaa
He is beyond words, thoughts and the mind.
“How, therefore can one grasp him with these?
What you grasp only intellectually may be overthrown by a new argument, but what you realise is yours, forever!
Shri Nathji’s divine nectar of words poured out towards all in a never-ending flow that was as touching as it was powerful.
