In Mussoorie, Kahkashan Cottage, which was situated alongside Spring Road, beneath the Savoy Hotel, was also purchased by Istafa Khan. In the years that followed, he would frequently place it at the disposal of Shri Nathji for the season whenever Shri Nathji came to Mussoorie.
