After his momentous visit to Lahore, Shri Nathji returned to Amritsar to be with Shri Babaji Maharaj again. As soon as Shri Nathji was with Shri Babaji Maharaj again he assumed his original stance of obedience and silence before him. The Divine Light that had burned in him so fiercely at Lahore was shut off. Shri Nathji concentrated upon serving Shri Babaji Maharaj heart and soul like a devoted son. Before Shri Babaji Maharaj he was ever the obedient son and the ever-eager pupil wishing to learn more.
While people worshipped him as God Incarnate he never relegated any importance to himself and transferred all worship to Shri Babaji Maharaj. Yet his destiny seemed to lie ahead of him. The time had come for him to reveal himself to the world. It was the time when the advent of the avatar was to manifest itself. The prophecy of Shri Babaji Maharaj had to be vindicated.
In the year 1929 Shri Nathji sought the permission of Shri Babaji Maharaj to travel out again. And this time he went from Amritsar to Dalhousie and Chamba State, and then to Jullunder and Bodiya–and finally to Mussoorie. The events are detailed in the pages to follow.
